Super Nova is the newest CO2 laser engraving and cutting machine from AEON Laser.
This is the Nova series’ upgraded edition; finally, Aeon created a machine that combines the best of both worlds, featuring a innovative dual source design. It integrates the ultra high resolution and speeds customary of metal RF laser tubes, while maintaining the superb cutting performance that only a glass DC laser tube can provide.

In the Super Nova, switching between the RF metal tube and the DC glass tube is easy, since it is via a motorised first mirror. The software automatically triggers the appropriate laser tube and mirror position.
Featuring Aeon’s newly designed, lightweight laser head, specifically paired with high speed, hybrid stepper motors, the Super Nova is sure to leave the competition in the dust. Experience an astonishing blur of acceleration achieving top speeds of up to 2000 mm/sec.
Say goodbye to excessive soot build-up on your material and in your laser cabinet. Now, a series of tiny fans are used to force feed makeup air into the laser cabinet, which consequently improves the speed in which smoke is evacuated from the system. Because the more air you move across the work table, the cleaner the results.
The software on the Super Nova assists you perfectly during laser engraving and laser cutting. Its features simplify your daily work, for perfect laser cutting and engraving results. It also works with your usual graphics programs (CorelDraw, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Illustrator, InkScape, Word etc.).
You can:
– Import artwork in a variety of common vector graphic and image formats;
– Arrange, edit, and even create new vector shapes within the editor, with powerful features like offsetting, boolean operations, welding, and node editing;
– Apply settings like power, speed, number of passes, cut order, brightness & contrast, dithering mode, and much more
– Send the result directly to your laser cutter It is a native application written for Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.
